CoinDepo Is Moving to Sumsub for KYC, KYT and AML Checks

We’re pleased to announce that CoinDepo is transitioning to Sumsub, a global verification and compliance platform, for KYC, KYT and AML checks.
This is an important step in strengthening our compliance infrastructure and supporting the licensing and regulatory requirements of the jurisdictions where CoinDepo operates and is currently seeking authorization.
🔐 Why We’re Making This Change
As CoinDepo grows, our verification and compliance systems must evolve alongside the platform.
Sumsub will help us:
- standardize KYC, KYT and AML checks;
- strengthen account protection and fraud-prevention controls;
- improve the consistency and auditability of compliance processes;
- reduce the manual exchange of sensitive documents;
- make identity verification faster and more convenient.
This transition does not change CoinDepo’s core products or the way interest is calculated on existing accounts.
What This Means for Customers
The new verification framework will be introduced gradually.
Some customers may be asked to complete verification through the Sumsub widget. This may happen during registration, before accessing certain platform features, as part of a periodic compliance review, or when additional account-ownership confirmation is required.
For example, verification may be requested when:
- making use of certain deposit or account functions;
- updating important account information;
- changing a registered email address;
- resetting two-factor authentication;
- completing a compliance or security review.
Receiving a verification request does not necessarily mean that there is an issue with your account. It may simply be part of the gradual transition to our new compliance framework.
The process will also reduce the need to send documents and photographs by email. Where possible, customers will be able to confirm their identity directly through a secure and guided Sumsub verification flow.
Is Any Action Required Now?
✅ There is no need to complete verification unless you are prompted to do so through the CoinDepo platform or contacted through an official CoinDepo communication channel.
Customers who have already completed verification may also be asked to use the new process in the future if updated or additional checks are required.
Please remember that CoinDepo will never ask you to provide your password, two-factor authentication codes or private wallet keys.
🛡️ Building Stronger Infrastructure
The move to Sumsub is another step in CoinDepo’s ongoing work to strengthen regulatory readiness, operational resilience and customer account protection.
Our goal is to make KYC, KYT and AML checks more secure, consistent and convenient while keeping the experience as straightforward as possible.
